In healthcare, respect is critical for safe, compassionate care of patients and families and for the wellbeing of the workforce. Beth is a pioneer in developing Medical Improv as an experiential teaching strategy for skills associated with emotional intelligence and communication. She is the founder of Boynton Improv Education, LLC, the author of 3 books on communication, the creator of the Teach Medical Improv train the trainer ebook series, and a member of the Human Dignity and Humiliation Studies Education Team.
