Stephanie Arnold is an Adult Psychiatric/Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist working for the Department of Psychiatry at a safety net hospital in Los Angeles County. She holds an undergraduate degree in Celtic Studies from UC Berkeley, an MSN from Cal State Los Angeles, and is a doctoral candidate in the University of Alabama’s DNP program. Nursing is a second career for Stephanie, which she embarked on after surviving malignant melanoma. Stephanie moonlights from time to time at UCLA teaching mental health nursing to graduate and undergraduate students. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International, Nu Mu chapter, and Golden Key International Honour Society. She was inducted into a local chapter of the Philanthropic Educational Organization in January of 2017, and is an active member serving on the Ways and Means Committee. She also likes making cold-process soap.
