Untangling the Phenomenon of the Wounded Healer

Dr. Omar Reda is a board-certified psychiatrist, a Harvard-trained trauma expert, Muslim activist, leader, passionate family advocate, and a highly sought-after dynamic public speaker. He is the author of several books, including The Wounded Healer: The Pain and Joy of Caregiving; Untangled: A Go-To Empowerment Guide for Parents and Caregivers of Traumatized Children; On the Shoulders of the Prophet; and Generation of ISIS.

He lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and three daughters.
