Santa Fe Retreats

Nurses, healthcare professionals and nurse entrepreneurs, would you like to come to Santa Fe (popularly known as “The City Different“), for a vacation/intensive coaching retreat with Nurse Keith?

When you plan a coaching retreat with me, we’ll meet according to a custom-designed schedule for in-person coaching sessions that will move you forward personally and professionally in the direction of your dreams and aspirations.

In this context, rather than the usual weekly or bi-weekly coaching calls, we’ll instead be meeting face to face, taking your goals and desires to the next level with personalized attention, thoughtful focus, and positive energy.

If you need help in the areas of social media, podcasting skills, online networking, writing, or blogging, meeting in person affords you the opportunity to receive hands-on assistance from an expert.

Your Santa Fe retreat will be designed by you with ample input and support from me. It can be any length you choose. I’ll help you find an appropriate and comfortable hotel or Air BnB, and we’ll be in touch regularly  during your stay by phone, email, and/or text to make sure all of your needs and goals are met and your tourism-related questions get answered.

If you’d like to come on retreat with a small group of friends interested in coaching with me as a group, the cost of coaching will be considerably less for each person (and hotel and other expenses can also be shared!)

Here’s how it would work:

You’ll come to Santa Fe, stay locally, and we’ll meet for uplifting and inspiring face-to-face coaching sessions. You’ll be given “homework”,, and we’ll review the results of that homework at each subsequent session.

Our coaching will focus on areas of greatest interest to you, including, but not limited to:

  • Developing your personal and/or professional vision and mission
  • Hands-on assistance with social media, LinkedIn, and online networking
  • Launching a podcast
  • Career advancement and career management
  • Resume and cover letter development
  • Mock interviews
  • Entrepreneurial ventures, branding, and marketing
  • Writing and blogging for fun and/or profit
  • Personal health and wellness
  • Burnout prevention or recovery

If your family or loved ones come with you, I’ll make sure you have all the information you need to keep them entertained and happy while you’re meeting with me and doing your homework, including maps, brochures, and ideas for fun things to do. You can, of course, also plan some fun for yourself; coaching sessions and homework  certainly won’t take up the entirety of every day, so there can be plenty of time for fun.

(You also have the option of extending your stay beyond our coaching retreat so that you can completely relax, or intersperse coaching sessions with being out and about around northern New Mexico.)

While in Santa Fe, you may also take advantage of working with my wonderful wife, Shada McKenzie, a talented and incredibly insightful traditional astrologer, reader of the tarot, teacher, and scholar of the esoteric sciences

Shada has access to many tools that can help you navigate life transitions, career choices, and relationships, including but not limited to your astrological birth chart, astrological projections for the coming year, a relationship reading for you and your spouse, and answers to your most pressing questions and concerns. Please visit her website, The Circle and the Dot for more information.

What To Expect

Prior to your arrival to Santa Fe, you and I will communicate by email and phone in order to solidify your goals for your personal retreat. You’ll be given pre-retreat assignments in order to lay the groundwork for your time with me here in the Southwest, and we’ll continue and deepen that work once you arrive.

By the time you leave Santa Fe, you’ll have created an action plan based on the work we will have done in our coaching sessions together. You’ll return home with clear steps for actualizing your plans and moving towards your achievable goals.

Having come to our fair city, it’s my commitment to personally ensure that you leave filled with the warmth and goodness of the New Mexican sun, our local authentic cuisine, the clean mountain air, the excellent bodywork available to you, the hot mineral springs, and the wonderful energy of the desert Southwest.

About Santa Fe

Santa Fe, the oldest capital city in the United States, is one of the most intriguing cities in the country. With plenty of art, music, dance, natural beauty, and a vibrant multicultural zeitgeist, “The City Different” and its northern New Mexico environs are the perfect place to enhance your personal and professional growth while also enjoying the wonders that the high desert has to offer.

With an average of around 300 days of sun per year, Santa Fe is the perfect place to get your share of Vitamin D and sunshine!

At 7,000 feet above sea level, our city can be cold but sunny in winter, and it’s a perfect home base for those who want to ski at the local Santa Fe Ski Basin or the more famous ski area in Taos, just 75 minutes north.

In our immediate region, you can visit Indian pueblos and reservations, raft and swim the Rio Grande, ride in hot air balloons, stroll the famous galleries on Santa Fe’s Canyon Road, and visit Georgia O’Keeffe’s museum and home. If you want to visit in the fall, you can take in the aspens, crisp air, and stunningly sunny days.

In summer, Santa Fe is alive with art, free outdoor music and festivals galore, including our annual Indian Market, Spanish Market, and the Sante Fe International Folk Art Market, the largest market of international folk art in the world!

Working and playing with me and Shada is a wonderful way to have a Southwest vacation in northern New Mexico, “The Land of Enchantment“, while simultaneously engaging in powerful personal and professional growth!

Additionally, as your personal New Mexico vacation advisor/concierge, I’ll advise you on where to stay and where to eat local authentic New Mexican food and partake of margaritas and other specialties if you so choose. I’ll also suggest places to go sightseeing, swim, go horseback riding, hike, get a massage, soak in hot mineral springs, see art, do yoga, sample amazing locally made chocolate, shop til you drop, and hear live music!
