The Nurse Keith Show, EPS 2

In this episode of “The Nurse Keith Show“, holistic nursing career coach Keith Carlson, RN, BSN, NC-BC, challenges listeners to consider what they love about their careers, what lights them up, and what they want more of.

Conversely, Keith also asks listeners to consider the aspects of their nursing or healthcare career that isn’t working for them anymore, and what they’d like to change.

Keith challenges his listeners to think about how they feel when they report to work, and what the nature of their relationships with their colleagues is like. He asks listeners to ponder what they feel in their gut about the patient population with whom they work, what kind of environment they work in, and how it feeds them—or fails to.

In the course of this episode, Nurse Keith also shares stories and anecdotes from his own nursing career, including his experiences just out of nursing school, as well as his current position as Director of Nursing of a home health agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

If you want to give your career trajectory some deep thought, listen to this episode of “The Nurse Keith Show” and ponder the deeper questions as they relate to your nursing career.
